Detection and grading of board surface defects.

The ARGOS Grading System is a versatile system for the detection of defects on PB-, MDF- and OSB-surfaces. The reliable detection and categorisation of these defects Surface defects of raw boards or laminated boards are reliably detected. The boards are scanned by several line scan cameras. Detectability of the defects is supported by the selection and arrangement of special light sources. The defects are categorised and catalogued.
