Early detection of cyclone clogging

Especially light fibres might accumulate before the rotary air lock. Unless this is noticed in time, the fibres will escape from the cyclones and, depending on the wind prevailing, spread all over the surrounding areas, causing considerable damage to the environment. This will also result in expensive and extended downtime. CYCLONE-CHECK will limit the damage by an early detection of fibre accumulation, immediate warning and disconnection of the process.

Function:

A pulsing infrared light source is targeted to a detector on the opposite side. It is a long wave light penetrating the material flow. If the material starts to clog inside the cyclone, the light is interrupted, releasing an alarm.
